Artist's Description
The national flower of Bhutan, the Himalayan Blue Poppy blooms at Longwood Gardens every March in their conservatory. The flowers are about four-inches in diameter with contrasting bright yellow centers. This image was awarded 3rd place in the Small Wonders Category of the 14th Annual Washington Gardener Photo Contest (2020).
